Josiah’s Place of Family Counselling is a Professional Family Counselling Center with a warm, inviting atmosphere, located in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Josiah’s Place is a private practice that is owned and operated by Julie Andersen, M.A., R.C.C, a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Julie is a registered member in good standing with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
In addition to a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Julie has sought additional formal training in Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused “Brief” Therapy, Crisis and Grief Counselling, Bereavement Support Services, and Critical Incident Stress Management.
Josiah’s Place services local Oceanside communities; Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Courtney and Campbell River; and also draws clients from Chemainus, Gabriola, Salt Spring Island, Uclulet, Tofino, Duncan, Victoria and Vancouver.
